High Houses can offer the following accommodation:-

• One double/twin en-suite room - which has its own wooden staircase up to a converted Cock Loft which has twin beds - ideal for children.
• One 4 poster double room with open fire and sofa bed.
• One twin/double room.
• One bathroom and one shower-room.
• Cosy sitting room with wood burning stove and piano.
• Inglenook room with open fire.
• Stable kitchen/dining room with Aga.
• Wi-Fi broadband internet available.

The rooms can be let on a Bed & Breakfast (B&B) basis (Dinner available if required - Jill is a professional cook) or all the rooms can be let as one self catering holiday cottage (sleeps 6 adults & up to 2 children).

All our rooms have a distinctive character reflecting the period in which the farmhouse was built, and all have beautiful views across the Northern Fells of the Lake District or out towards the Solway Firth and Scotland. Whichever way you choose to visit High Houses, we promise you a relaxing time in fabulous historic surroundings.

Well behaved dogs welcome, but note this is a farming area with other dogs, hens and sheep. Horses also welcome and livery is provided at the bottom of the hill at Snittlegarth.
